    Actinic Shared SSL Error in V9

    HI,

    Have just upgraded to V9 and am using Protx and Actinic shared SSL (via 4 Sure Hosting) as back up. Protx working but getting following message when using Actinic shared SSL
    "Error: The shared SSL site is out of sync with the Actinic Ecommerce version. The catalog requested protocol version 3, but the shared SSL site only supports protocol version(s) 1,2,.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Press the Browser back button and try again or contact the site owner"

    Any clues as to what I need to do.

    It can't be actinic shared SSL if 4sure provide it as actinic provide their own. The error message has been detailed in the forum before, if you search on the key part of the message, you should see a few threads. From memory though, all you can do is contact 4sure as they need to change something. I think when 8.5.1 was released Actinic required a different setting of some kind, only 4sure can do this for you.

    If the method is due for renewal soon, don't bother with it as that method is not PCI compliant, so you may want to consider having a 2nd PSP.

        Now i'm really confused lol. 4sure resell Actinic's? So in this instance, where a setting on the cert has to be changed, who is responsible? Surely Actinic have their shared SSL setup correctly, so what happens as 4sure will say it's Actinic's fault?

          4 Sure have been in touch and said the following:
          The error message you are getting looks like the ASSSL details you have entered in are incorect for your actinic version.
          If you have upgraded your actinic recently to v9 or anything above 8.5.2 then you will need these ASSSL settings,

          In Actinic go to your business settings and configure method.
          select Shared SSL and in the installed providers select Unlisted Providers.
          Next select the Unlisted Provider tab and enter in the following information.
          .............."

          I have entered the details that they provided and all is now well. Thank you for all your replies
