I expect that's what the hack is addressing. How's about providing the code for the list in its entirety, promise not to divulge - scouts honour. You can delete the post after its done or even post in the hidden developers (secret service) forum.

Hmmm bugger, well you might be forced to move the conditional comments into the head area and reference different stylesheets then if you have to continue in that vain. Just correct the code and then provide them back with how it should be done, make your life easier.

The conditional comments look titsup to me, your opening IE7 comment opens and then just closes, seemingly doing nothing. They also appear nested for some reason.

How about a <php include> into the outer layout?

That script dates back to 2006 with a few tweaks - there are literally thousands more out that that work using basic CSS (see a list apart for starters) across all browsers and under Actinic

There was a freebie on this months .NET magazine which generates drop down menus via a GUI into CSS free of Javascript

Away from Actinic system but try this. Create Variables that contain the problematic content as the default value and use them wherever said content is needed.

thanks. tried that & now actinic crashes every time I want to check to see errors which look possibly the same as before.
