Too much information showing in cart

I have products, with components, attributes and choices. However, in the cart I don't want to see the Component Name or Attribute Name - although "think" I do actually need to have the fields populated (???). I would just like to see the resulting value - not the name. Somebody tried previously to help me with this and I ended up getting all confused with perl scripts - my skills are NOT that extensive - please treat me like a total beginner! Thanks. Mandy. Url is www.mirroredimages.co.uk

You may not but your customers may want to see what they have ordered

If you delete the html name it should remove the description from the cart which is I assume what you are meaning by too much info

Double posting will not help your situation!!

            http://community.actinic.com/showthread.php?t=37786

Also, where is the post where someone helped you before? Can we assume you actually want to see only the choice made by the customer, not the component names or labels and quantities?

This will require a Perl amendment by the sound of it and if you feel you are not capable you might be worth contacting someone who can do it for you.
            Cheers

cor blimey...did David just lose 'is rag?

              *chuckles*

It isn't clear, from the initial post, what exactly you are wanting to get rid of
              titles? quantities? options?
Perhaps creating associated products for each choice/permutation and linking these so that only the selected name appears in the cart might be an option?
Not for the feint hearted if your catalog is large and all you're trying to do is 'tidy up' a bit though.

To say I am having a bad day would be a gross understatement. Although even calm David would have found this post annoying simply through it's lack of sense and willingness to help itself! Only the thought of the pint of Guiness I expect to be drinking in around 34 minutes is keeping me going. So I am now going to bow out of this thread and spend the rest of the night getting very drunk!

                I bid you all farewell!
                Cheers
