    sage link issue

We use business plus v9 and have just bought sage 50 financial controller 2008

When we import orders into sage, if the product is not already in the sage databse it just goes in as a S1 product. Am I missing something or is this the way it is supposed to work

    Morning Dave,

You need to have the Product code in Actinic and Sage EXACTLY matching (Sage is case sensitive) and if you don't have the product created in Sage then it will always go into S1. You can export a CSV database from Actinic and import it into Sage, but you must have all products created

      thats what we figured

you would think that a new product would automatically be created if not there already in sage.

I guess another one for the wish list

apart from that minor item, all the rest works great

No Way Jose!!, you have to maintain two very seperate databases, but I have to say once you have got your head round that the Sage link works really well and can be used for your stock control and maintenance
