    Scripting Errors

I am hosting my site with Pinbrook and when I look at my site statistics (AWStats) and look at pages viewed on my site I have lots of hits on scripting errors which I am reading that loads of my visitors get scripting errors when they use my site.

Looking at the various threads on this it looks like most developers can identify where the problem is happening on their site, but when I test my site I cannot recreate any problems. Quite a few of the threads indicate that the problem is with the hosting so possibly I have an incorrect setting somewhere. I would appreciate it if someone could advise me where to go with this so I can try and resolve it or if I need to take it up with Pinbrook?

The errors include (among others) :

    http://fullofitawards.co.uk/cgi-bin/ss000001.pl
    http://fullofitawards.co.uk/cgi-bin/nq000001.pl
    http://fullofitawards.co.uk/cgi-bin/os000001.pl

If AWStats show you have hits on the scripts they are visitors not errors.

ss - means someone used the search button
nq- is each time you download orders
ca - is a view of the shopping cart
os - is a visit to the checkout script

Excellent - thank you. So none of these are errors in my site they are all related to the general running of the site?

How nice that my error is different to the other threads on the community!

of course, having posted the links, people will be clicking on them and you will be getting errors somewhere

You may want to edit and remove to stop temptation?
