V smart indeed. I imagine the payment pending bit changes automatically to Full Payment Received (or some such) on a genuine order?
I think I might change the Date Received words as the received bit might confuse people. Or maybe just leave it out altogether. And then I'd put Date Dispatched instead of Date Completed.
I don't like US date formats also.

      thats right.

you get little ticks and such happening when everything is hunky dory with an order.

fixed the 'dispatched' part, thanks for the input.

Very neat Mr Big-Gun. It is what Actinic has been crying out for.

Awww - you remembered my pink hearts

Back to the plot - the plug-in looks very handy - will save a lot of wasted time with people chasing the status of their orders.

there is plenty of extra data to go in. For example, you'll notice the lack of prices. this will be fleshed out later.

I love gabes talk, "fleshed out later"

Actually i think its great, its easy to craft into actinic and as Jont said it adds an important part to actinic, this is certainly a good plugin.

I can see this growing in potential, a simple sql db at the back end with no actinic reworks

in fact, the only thin you have to do to actinic is paste a placeholder where you want the thing to appear.

For this example, i simply duplicated the brochure page template and replaced 'INNERLAYOUT' with 4 lines of code. The entire thing is ajax based, so elements load web2 style.

As for the SQL part, you'll obviously need to have an MySQL database online. This database is populated with the ActSQL tool. the way that works is simple too.

After you deal with orders, and manage your products, double click on its icon. The tool will sync all required data. Here is a post about it.

Nice work and something desparately needed in Actinic. Shame it can't(?) work in tandem with the out of the box login so only one login is require for cutomers on different pricing schedules.

i dont see any reason why this cant be possible, in fact, i dont see why anything cant be possible. the data is there. just find someone that understands php and get them coding

there will be a selection of scripts like this one that take advantage of the data from the ActSQL plugin. I really want people with php knowledge to start their own scripts.

so, any good coders out there?

Gabe - will you be able to set at what points the info is displayed to the customer eg either pending or dispatched and not all the bits in between. The ability to select what stages are displayed would allow great flexibility.
