site wont compile in production mode, but will in test mode?

heres a strange one to start the day

just last night i tried to upload a site, it just sat there wouldn't compile didnt pop any windows up
so shut down restarted
even re-installed

used old snapshot
used different computer

nothing changed just sat there

tried test mode works wonderfly well

drop back to production mode wont do squat


i have compacted, restores re-installed

any clues people

Try either a website purge and refresh or increment the script number by 1 and then try an upload.

when i click on refresh or upload it just sites there doesnt even get past the checking file stage, doesnt popup that box

tried the script

but it isnt making it to that stage

doing my fruit in now

goign back in backups now see if its something in a corrupt acd

just tried the old generate site button, and it works there

so just when i click the normal upload it wont generate/compile

Have you tried the purge and refresh from the troubleshooting menu?

OK copy the scripts from the original folder and over write the site ones, also increment the script id. sounds to me as though the scripts are corrupt.

Remember any customisation need putting back, i had something similar and it fixed it, failing that i guess its a support problem

just doing an export in test mode then ill reimport

ive even looked at an old snapshot from the 19th see if that helps

It could be PBKAC issue i guess, but i reckon support will need to get involved on this one.

right ive
gone back a week in snapshots and working now, will have to reapply any changes but at least its compiling, strange how it compiled the other day and uploaded fine but wont now

well, it would imply that it's script related but, other than that...did you try talkig to it NICELY?
