    Strange Orders coming through... HELP!

I got 3 orders this morning 2 didn't have SECPAY authorisation and 1 came thorough as if they were going to pay by cheque. All had the word test in the address details, but what was weird was that the order numbers had the word test in them too....

Order Number: TTTEST10005219 an order without PSP confirmation
    Order Number: TTTEST10005220 (cheque one)
Order Number: TTTEST10005220 an order without PSP confirmation

Do you know what it could be?

    -------

The above is a message from a client and I would love to help her out.

If anyone has any ideas, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

    They're just 'spoof' orders, Tom

The order number is made up from various elements of the customer name and postcode so it's taken the TEST part from these fake details.

    It's not particularly unusual (unfortunately)

They're test orders by someone testing your checkout.

The start of the order number is a combination of the customer initials plus the last four characters from the postcode. Someone's entering 'test' for those which is why it's appearing in the order number.

Perhaps you have an issue with Actinic Support, they ususally use 'TEST' in the address details when placing test orders.
