embedding html in option choices

Is it possible to embed html in option choices so that I could make 'out of stock' options appear red?

So the choice name would be something like:
-2.00 !!<<font color="#FF0000">(out stock)</font>>!!

I know I could just try, but last time I did an experinment Actinic got stuck in loop crashing so I thought I would ask first.

Don't do it this way as it will mess with the downloader order and customer email.

Consider creating a Choice level Variable that you set if out of stock. Then add some code to your choice display layout(s) to add in the red text if that flag is set.
