Actinic Crashing on Upload

Hi,

I have never had problems before but with one of my sites when i upload or refresh within 30 seconds i get a windows encountered a problems and shuts down actinic.

Any ideas why this could be happening as i need to upload my site but can't.

If the other sites are working this is likely a database issue. Try compacting as soon as opening and see if that resolves.

any major differences with this site (ie js being used more than the others, major mods in place etc)

I have tried compacting the database but when i try it takes about 10 minutes and i get an error stating:

There was a problem compacting the database, the process cannot access the file as it is being used by another program.

This is not true though as i tried this as soon as i started my PC.

The problem happened when i upgraded from 8.0 to 8.51 but i had to upgrade as i was getting another problem from being on 8.0 which is sorted but now i am getting this.

May be worth dragging the v8.0 ActinicCatalog.mdb into the site folder and let it upgrade again - rename the existing file first - that may do a better job with the conversion. Generally upgrading between patches in v8 / v9 is trouble free.
