    "Outstanding Exports"

    Where has it gone?

    For those who do not process in Actinic there was an option in Operations|Outstanding Exports that took you straight to the export.

    Now it looks like we have to go through the reports panel which does not close on completion.

    However the help file says that Operations|Outstanding Exports should be there.

    Hi Jan its Business Plus 902 IFZA

    It was always there in V7 and 8 and this is a straight import of a V8 snapshot as of lunch time today.

    Just looked again and it is there under my "administrator" login but not under an "order processor" login which explains why I hadn't noticed before.

    Thing is who is likely to want to do the exporting if not one of our order processing folk?

      Yes they can export otherwise.

      The option is simply missing from the menu for an "order processor" login.

      Something to look forward to in 904 I suppose

              It won't be 9.0.3 as that's build is closed for new issues. The earliest it will be is 9.0.4 but I can't guarantee it as it depends on how many other more critical issues there are.

                Come on Tracy, Actinic can do better than that.

                This is functionality that was there in 7 and 8 and someone has got a menu option wrong in V9.

                If they had tested it thoroughly they would have noticed their error. As I said for me testing as an administrator it was still there. It was only when our users logged in as order processors that the error came to light.

                Fair do's it might be too late for 903 but at least get them to promise to correct it for 904. After all they can move heaven and earth when there are issue like sync server in Business MU / Plus.

                  I'm afraid that I can't promise which version anything gets fixed in as I am not included in those decisions. When I posted my last comment there was no fix version set for this issue as I had only just reported it. Now, however, it looks like those who do make those decisions have deemed it important enough to make it into 9.0.3.

                  After all they can move heaven and earth when there are issue like sync server in Business MU / Plus.
                  This problem affected a large number of our Business Plus users which is why it was dealt with quickly, so it is in a different class to an issue that has been reported by one person and where the feature is still available through another route.
