Can a products history be found?

Trying to find out whats causing some stock level problems.

Just wondered if there was a way to trace which orders have been associated with a given product (other than checking manually, which does not really help if the product has been deducted from the stock level twice for the same order).

I was hoping to ignore this issue/bug/scenario but I've decided that our stock levels are important to us so I've no option but to try to cure it, or at least find the problem and create a workaround.

On the completed orders screen select Edit > Find Ordered Products.

That only shows which order(s) have the product added, not if its been allocated to the said order twice (in error, by the Catalog).

As I tried to explain I'm looking to find a list from the product info (hidden in a database somewhere?) side of things.

I don't think you're going to find what you're looking for. When Actinic stock 'monitoring' adjusts the stock levels I'm sure all it does is change the number up or down. I'd be very surprised if there was any kind of logging of the who, what, where, when or why it did it.

What exactly are the stock level errors you are trying to locate?

Are they Offline Order Adjustments that have messed things up?

If so, I might be able to point you in the right direction...

Just products that have been reduced in number more than they should be.

Was stock checking yesterday and this is a major hassle for us.

Still cant pinpoint the cause though.
