    Invoice with Order...

    I've added the "Invoice with Order" Payment option for my clients so that customers who wish to pay by Cheque/Postal Order have an option at the Payment stage.

    (Infact I think I might change the "Invoice with Order" text so that it's clearer)

    Anyway,

    I've tried to run some dummy orders through and it seems to hang if I choose the aforementioned Payment Option.

    I was hoping a few of you would try for yourselves and see what happens and give me some feedback please? www.u-need-ink.co.uk

    If you just put Actinic in the Name Field I'll know it's not a genuine order and stop the debt collectors from coming round...

    Your checkout is very slow - it seemed to hang for me at the first page. On my second attempt it never progressed to page 2 when selecting Invoice with Order - just as you mentioned.

    I would recommend resetting any checkout design changes you may have made.

      Same here, just hangs when you select invoice with order, up until then it had been pretty quick, went back and tried again using Paypal and went straight thru' with no delay.

        I don't get any trouble with PayPal either...

        I'll go back and have a look at the checkout page, but don't remember making any significant changes.

        I've done a site refresh and deselected "Invoice with Order" as an Option and then re-instated it to see if that helped, but alas no.

          if it's only a problem with this one payment method, perhaps it's the receipt page causing a problem?
          Have you made any changes to the receipt page layout?
          Does the order actually come through into Actinic?

            At this point it would normally go off to an OCCxxxxTemplate but I don't what happens wih Invoice with Order.

              Tracey: Orders are still coming through (I've just downloaded 15 orders), but if I was a customer I'd just assume the site crashed and find another site.

              Drounding: I ran a test in another site and it should redirect to bin/os000002.pl (The receipt page)...

                It doesn't even appear to be trying to load the next page though.
                I would definitely go to
                Design > Library > Web Page Inner Layout > Order 02 Bulk Area
                RIGHT click and 'Revert to Factory Settings

                I'd be tempted to do the same for 'Receipt Page Bulk' too

                Might not fix it but it's certainly a starting point.

                    You might also want to try changing the script ID - bit of a long shot though.

                      Thanks for getting up extra early to help my plight...

                      Script ID is changed I'm uploading as we speak so hopefully I'll have some positive news shortly.

                      I had to change the ID on another one of my sites, but was under the impression it wasn't something that should crop up too often.

                      Have you have to change the ID much?

                        Changing the script ID used to be a quick fix for some v7 sites but not in v8 or 9 - hence 'a long shot'.

                            I've tried this on a test site and it works fine.
                            If you have reset the checkout and receipt pages back to factory then I'm not sure what else to suggest.

                              I'm a little lost too.

                              Just a quick note, could everyone stop testing the site now please. I'm in the process of dowmloading 267 orders and I bet there's not a single pound in any of them
