...that's not good, as far as I can see anyway. 
Searching through my older postings there are several references to having better stock control and these go back well over a year, for those of us whom use linked accounts suites in particular Actinic has always fallen short in (1) hidden components and (2) consolidation of order lines of components.
Not to be confused entirely with other features which can be grouped like discounts etc., I am sure many retailers like us sell a consolidation of other items on the store as perhaps gift packs for example, one box + one ribbon + one bottle of goo - which itself is a product and hence product code and thus in your accounts package forces the requirement of a new stock code and annoying manual transfers of said components to keep the levels accurate.
What we need is the ability to create a product in Actinic made up of products (being the components) in the store (like as above for reference) where that main product code is supressed in the accounts export but for the client they see it on their invoice and vice versa the components are supressed, the stock is right, the customer invoice is right and looks good so no problems. At the moment you'll get all the components shown even at zero value and listed with each main product, it is very messy looking and confusing...
V9 still not addressed and wondering why if Actinic are not going to listen why we should upgrade, having spent money on MoleOSA and our own dropship module we don't want to move away but perhaps at least with Open Source Code we could get what we want in weeks and months, rather than years.
