    Offline Orders Driving Me Mad

    Is there a fix on the way to sort out the glitches with offline orders. Had one today that duplicated a line 10 times or more, another that crashes the system and has wiped the order lines but kept a partial total, 2 more that wont clear when paid and printed.

    i was aware of the shipping problem which is why the orders wont ship, but the duplication of lines is a new one on me, is this a reported bug?

      I have had it happen with 2 orders so far, cant do anything with them, have to delete and start again.

          Hi

          I reported a bug in offline ordering using the new order screen, basically if a customer ordered

          Item 1 - Small Size x 1
          Item 1 - Medium Size x 1
          Item 1 - Large Size x 1

          It would list them on the order form ok, until I had ok'd the order or did something like change the shipping amount. Following that it would show

          Item 1 - Small Size x 3

          If thats what you mean by duplicates, I did report this problem to Actinic and sent a snapshot of the site to them for them to look at.

          This was reported to them at the beginning of June. They advised me to use the old style offline order which you can find at


          Operations [] New Order

          Hopefully this can save you the problem in the meantime...

            This certainly seems to be a more stable way of doing offline ordering in V9!

            kinda defeats the object of the MOTO form, eh?

              y I agree....

              I only actually found out when the customer sent me a long list of errors with her order confirmation email!

              It was a little awkward as typically she is one of those very precise people who never makes mistakes...

              Hence I will not use it until I know the bugs are fixed...

              The shame is, it is much easier to use than the original offline ordering! As I was putting the order on, I was thinking wow! this is quick... I was soooo dissapointed when I couldnt use it anymore
