Java Integration in Righ Hand Column

Right so i managed to create a live chat feature for my online store that is integrated through Java and the button that activates it is located inconveniently at the bottom of my page. I want to know how to place the exact same code onto my right hand column sidebar so that I have the same button but at the top of the page.

I have included a picture of my websites front page with a location pointer on where I mean.

I ave tried doing this myself, but at the minute Actinic doesn't seem to accept all of my code, just the little bits it likes, but the bulk of the code is missed out.

Any help on this matter would be highly appreciated.

I would add the chat code to a new layout in the library and then call that code into the outer layout... switch to the design tab and click on the preview and navigate to the outer layout (something like works best with smart theme) ... find the layout (pink text) for the shopping cart summary and add your newly created chat layout just beneath.
