Displaying WorldPay logos on site

I am trying to go live with payment service provider - WorldPay. They have advised me that before they will approve my application, they will need to test the site (for obvious reasons) but they will also need to see the WorldPay logos etc on the site.
Does anybody have any suggestions as to how these logos can be introduced? Is there a function that I can turn on within v9 that will allow me to display the required logos?

remember users, I'm a complete Actinic numpty so please take this into account when you prepare your replies!

Brian, even if Worldpay provide the complete code and image, you will probably fall apart trying to put it on your site. I think it is time to have a good read up on html or contact someone a bit more experienced. To start with, to have the remotest chance of achieving this task, see if Worldpay provide you with the already completed image and code to add to your site. Failing that just copy it off someone elses site.

The code for displaying WorldPay logos is available from within the login panel they provide.

Copy and paste the code into a fragment on home page is probably easiest way.

The code looks like:

Giant WorldPay logos - need 'em smaller!

I'm playing with this at the moment. The logos look smart and professional but they are HUGE!
Is there any way of making them smaller (guess I should be asking WorldPay this but couldn't find it on their faq's and wondered if anyone else had managed to do this).

As previously mentioned, the code given by WorldPay is:

with XXXXX replaced by your WorldPay installation ID number and this automatically generates the row of logos of cards that you can accept.

I know I'm selling stuff but I don't want to hit my customers over the head with it to the exclusion of all else!

With all logos you should look to create your own copy of the image so that you can guarantee it will always show and be available. Choose the closest logo to what you want, then slice it up in an image processing package and create your own graphic instead to your own sizes.

Always try to avoid linking externally for anything, if their site goes down, yours can be rendered useless or can look shoddy. If your site is not working then, nothing to worry about, nobody can get to any part of your site anyway.

Very good point Lee. I did have some lovely little gifs of Credit cards (and the 'powered by worldpay) that were all sitting happily in a table in a sidebar.
Then I put that WorldPay code in (because I thought I had to) and it all shot to hell in a handcart.

Ideally, I would love to go back to just using my own gifs but am unsure about whether I have to use the 'powered by worldpay' one that has to contain my WP installation number. I've called WP for a yay or nay on this but they were swamped so I'm getting a callback (yeah, right...).

Just the powered by logo and the cards you accept, that's all i have ever had to do.

Great - that's just what I wanted to hear! I'll go with that then. I'm now wondering if the 'automatic logo generator' thingy is just to help out people who don't want to mess around with their own gifs.

I doubt I'll get a callback from WP and I want this site up. If WP do have any issue with it I'm sure they'll tell me when they do their test.

its one of those things were to be safe its best to use the script when you are getting approval, once you are up and running change it to something that fits with your design.

i used the script supplied in my footer to get approved and to be honest ive never re-instated since jont did my redesigns

I've gone back to the WP site and gone through their faq's.

If you are using the payment method logo generator to display card logos on your website, please ensure you are using the following URL:
http://select.worldpay.com/wcc/logo?

The full tag you need to code into your website is:

src="https://select.worldpay.com/wcc/logo?instId=XXXXX"></script>

If you are not using the payment method logo generator script then there will be an issue referencing these images on your own server. Please refer to your website administrator for assistance.

Not 100% sure what that means but it does say 'if' you are using it - not you have to use it. Not being pedantic - just fed up with swapping images etc.

However, I'll wait and see if I do get a callback from WP. If not, I'll send it for approval with the gifs and if they want it changed I'm sure they'll let me know.

Finally heard back from WorldPay and they say it's fine to use your own gifs. So I'm going to submit my site to them with the smaller ones and see what happens...

Not that I don't trust Customer Service Advisors...
