Networking

Hi,

we have SBS 2003, anyhows we tried to network our three or four computers through our server on actiunic. we got it working beautifully but when we went to back up. we had 1259 errors, for some reason all the images won't back up! all 1259 of them. anyway does anyone know why this is, we had a backup so have reverted to that for the time being.

Is the site folder on the server? Where did you do the back up from, was it on the server or one of the networked pcs? Can I check that you are using the Multi-user version?

thanks for your response, we are using multi user version

we put the whole site on the server including all the backups and then shared with the other computers, it was working fine, until we tried to back up and it couldnt find the images, we have since reverted but are having some major issues.

we may give it another go after the weekend as we are finding the software temperamental at the moment, sometimes it seems to work perfectly and other times it is crashing and coming up with many error messages
