Preventing items being sold abroad?

Is there any way to prevent certain items being sold abroad.

Yes,

Set shipping by weight, set the weight of items you don't want to accept international orders for to be too high for the international shipping tables.

This may be possible in V9 using categories. I've no idea about those.

Hi Matt,

In 'design' | 'Business settings'

goto the 'shipping and handling tab'

If you create zones and classes and include the countries you DO want to ship to to these.

Then on the configuration tab of the 'shipping and handling tab'

tick the box under "If shipping band not defined" that says 'Do Not Allow Shipping'
