Other Info Prompt - suppressing questions

Hi

I'm using the other info prompt on my product pages and wondered if there is a way that you can stop the actual question being shown in the basket, checkout & receipt and only get the customer's answers?

On some of my products I have to ask 3 questions, so a repeat of these and the answers is a bit messy. (8.5.2)

Click on the design tab .. switch page type to your cart pages and in the design preview click on the sample message... you will see something like PromptValue ... wrap any variables (the blue text) between:

<span style="display:none"> ..... code .... </span>

That should remove from displaying on screen but should sent through to the cart.

Not tested on a live site only offline.

Hi

Just tried that on my live site, but it seemed to get rid of the actual info box with the customer's input which I want and still left the questions showing.

It's just the questions I want to hide in checkout

e.g Please give details of Occasion and your Gift Message (I want to hide this in the cart and just show their answers).

I maybe asking for the earth - it wouldn't be the first time!
