Ghost pages

After moving a few subsections around in the catalog Actinic has thrown a wobbly.

The sections which I have 'cut' are still being uploaded when I publish the website. I have purged, completely removed the folder in Apache but they're still getting uploaded.

Any ideas?

have you tried compacting the database?
Housekeeping > Compact Databases?

when you say cut, do you mean cut and not pasted or deleted.

have you also closed actinic and compacted the database.
