New to Actinic - VERY confusing

Hi All

I'm just starting out as a website designer. I've taken on my first e-commerce website.

To help me build it, I've bought the actinic v9 designer software, and tried to use it, but to be honest, I find it VERY confusing.

for now, i've uploaded a VERY basic, temporary site for my client at www.caughtnappying.co.uk until I can work out how to use Actinic.

I'm really after some useful pointers, where to start etc - I cant seem to change the layout of the sampple site or anything!

By going on a training course at Actinic

I would suggest you start again, first make a full snapshot of what you have done and save it somewhere safe along with a copy of the site folder

Then go to the actinic site and download the catalogue site and open it

You should now have open a site selling a number of items like books, clothes and computers if memory serves me right

Play with this site and fully understand how it works, it shows you may options on how to select options on products etc

When you have finished this its then the time to move back to your own prodject
