Double click on the error and see if it takes you to the problem. Hopefully it will highlight what is wrong.

      Hi Lee

      There's 569 of them

Everything has been fine till I started intergrating PROTX...during the intergration I noticed the </head> and </body> tags where missing from the external layout so added them...would this be causing the problem

      Many thanks

569 is a good sign, it probably means you have one thing in the wrong place 569 times, likely linked to the number of products or sections i'd expect. Integrating PROTX should not wreck external layouts at all, different areas of the software completely. Start from the beginning again before the PROTX integration and make sure head and body area is all fine, then repeat. I suspect that you have replaced the body and head tags into the wrong place.

I get the same outcome whater I do

This is the first time I've tried to upload changes to the live site from my pc as I normally from the clients. I feel it must be something to do with the external layout as the same thing happens with any snapshot I import.

So client can work it fine their end, but when they snapshot the site to you, it will not upload correctly and problems seem to exist on the external design? If so, i suspect that the external layout was not stored in the correct place when it was registered and it is having difficulties coming over on a snapshot. V8 snapshots are rock solid and have been for 18 months IME, so there has to be a fundamental error in place. Make sure you are ticking 'all content' on the 4th screen of the snapshot import process also.

Yes I agree, V8 is solid...this problem only started when we found the closing tags missing and all the errors seem to be linked to the add to cart button.

              Cheers

                Hi Neil,

Did you get a resolution to this? I too get the same problem and it occurs on the 'add to basket'/'order' button. I have tried most things but cannot seem to mend it.

                Thanks

                  Hi Nigel

I ended up working on the snapshot at my clients premises and everything seemed fine...the problem only occures when I worked on the snapshot here so I dont really know what was causing the problem I'm affraid...

                  Cheers

You are possibly running a different version (or patch level) of Actinic than your client. Use Help / About on both systems to see what's what.
