    can't download orders - HELP!

    Hi

A customer of our is having problems downloading orders.

Basically they went away on holiday for a week, sent us a snapshot so thet we could do some work on the website which we completed and sent back to them. They have imported the snapshot and then tried to download some orders that they have sat up on the server however it is not downloading. The download just hangs for up to 10 mins without doing anything. There are no error messages appearing.

Does anyone have any ideas? Our version of actinic is the same as theirs so i wouldn't of thought his would be the problem would it?

    Thanks

    Martin

Bit of the horse has bolted scenario, you should have downloaded all orders, paused ordering online, then imported the snapshot and refreshed the website.

Now i am guessing you have two options

Option 1 is to import a snapshot of how the site was and download these orders

Option 2 is to refresh the website, as to what will happen to the orders i dont know

Someone else might come up with other ideas

We did suggest suspending ordering to the customer however they wanted to leave the shop running. We have done this before with them and it has never been a problem.

We may try importing the old snapshot again and see if this work, the only work i have done is to add in analytics anyway to the site.

Let me know if anyone else has any ideas though?

      Thanks

FTP to the site and move the .ORD files to a temp location away from actinic ... refresh the site under Actinic and move the .ORD files back and retrieve the usual way.

            thanks for the help guys.

I think we have sorted the problem out. I have managed to download the orders through my version of actinic and have sent the customer an updated snapshot so hopefully this will solve the problem.

            Thanks
