Product Discount Bug v8.5.0

A working discount is set for a group and populated with a handful of products. All is perfect.

Copy one of these products and paste as a new product into a different section providing a new reference number. This creates a new product but based on the old product details. The marketing link "10% off this group" etc displays against this newly created product. Checking the product groups in marketing does not feature this new product.

Appreciate this is my bunkered version but not sure if it is still happening in later v8 patches and v9.

In 8.5.3 and 9.0.2, if you copy and paste a product that is a member of a product group, the new product is added to the product group, so the marketing link shows. Removing the new product from the group stops the link from showing - so if it was a problem in earlier versions, it's now fixed.
