Good v9 sites - your suggestions

I was most impressed in that they asked for real site snapshots to play with. and check things out in the real world. rather than what their designers think is a model Actinic site

I wonder how many people supplied snapshots

Well, this thread has taken a very interesting turn. All of a sudden I am very wary of upgrading. Is it possible to upgrade to V8, or do you have to upgrade to the latest?

(To those of you that have helped me out before - don't worry, i'm not about to do any of this work myself, i'm letting someone that knows what they are doing do it!)

Not sure you'd want to buy V8 nowadays, just wait until there is good news on V9. Hopefully it won't be long now, 9.0.3 should be the saviour. Your designer will tell you this once you choose him/her anyway.

it won't be long before support for 7 is withdrawn anyway. - but to go to 8 now would be counterproductive

Thanks Jim - to be honest though it doesn't have all the Actinic bells and whistles in it, but it works well. We're waiting for 903 so that we can hopefully pull the same trick with a new website, and it will include a lot of (gracefully degrading) FLASH.
