Coding Errors

Until I upgraded to version 9, which so far is wrecking my head I had no errors. Now I am getting an error message

"Error in condition (A PHP error has been found on this page('Parse error; parse error in main on line 4') The error is coming from the 'Image on Left Section Link' layout... 15 places.

Here is my code on that page - any ideas would be great..

Hi,

The error is coming from the 'Image on Left Section Link' layout... 15 places.

The code you have pasted is not for a section link layout. This looks more like the innerlayout used on section pages. I have copied and pasted it into my software and don't get any errors and there is no php on this layout which would be denoted by a 'block' tag (not a 'block if'), so the error can't be because of this layout. If you double-click on the error, which layout does it take you to?
