I'm having difficulty understanding saving and backing up in Actinic. It appears to me that "apply changes" has the effect of saving, since those changes are reflected next time I open the program, whether or not I make a snapshot. There does not appear to be an option to work for a while then exit the program without saving all those changes. Am I right so far?
'Exit without Backup' seems to mean what it says, but if the alternative to it is 'Site Snapshot', which does not seem capable of backing up, since it doesn't offer me a destination, but in effect saves the data in the original file. So if I elect to make a Site Snapshot, I have still exited without a backup. Am I right about that, or is there in fact a way to use the exit procedure to back up on to an external drive?
