Currency does not display

We have a problem where the currency does not diplay dispite being setup in actinic.

It used to work on the old server but now appears as a square but works fine on Paypal, Protx ect.

We have refreshed the website and updated the site.

Its a server setting i believe, been discussed numerous times, the solution may have been even added into the AUG or KB. It is linked to incorrect encoding from memory. A search of the available resources should yield the exact answer.

Cheers maybe I should buy a thesaurus because I couldnt find it.
