Removing sub sections from my side bar.

My apologise if this has been covered elsewhere, but I have looked and am unable to find the answer.
I only want to display my top level sections in my sidebar and not my subsections.
Is there an easy way to remove this?

Yes ... wrap your code in a blockif and use the SectionLevel variable. Sections are numbered:

0 = main catalog
1 = top level sections
2+ sub sections

to only show top level sections use SectionLevel == 1 in the blockif
