General Information Fields

Hi,

I've search the forums and the AUG but can't find a thread about changing the General Information Fields Answers into a drop down list and making it complusory. If there is a thread then please let me know.

This what I want to do

The General Information Field - "How did you find my site" is currently a free text field, that the customer can fill in if they want. I want to

1) change it to a drop down list of say 5 options including "Other"

2) make it compulsory to answer it

How do I do this?


I suspect this has been answered before but I can't find a thread

Use the V8 AUG as i think the V9 one does not have everything in it yet.
V8 and V9 are pretty identical, so it's the same procedure.
If it's not in the AUG (pretty sure it is), then it must be in the big red star top right of the forum.
