Product Codes visible with Order Details

Hi All,

Is there a way to see an items Product Code within the downloaded order details? It would make my clients life a lot easier as every product is being shipped by 3rd parties!

I've taken a look and can't seem to find an obvious way of displaying this, nor can I seem to find anything in the Community.

As always, any help would be appreciated.

Are the product codes automatically generated by Actinic?
I believe that they only show in the order details (I assume you mean within Actinic itself and not emails?) if you do not use auto generated references (Settings > Business Setting > Options)

Nope, all product codes are self generated. Still not showing the product codes though

It's only showing the short description?

ok..and by the product codes being 'self generated' you mean that you are physically entering a product reference when creating a new product?

If the answer to that is yes then I'm not sure why it isn't working but I just want to clarify in case someone else can!

Yep, each product code is manually input, Actinic isn't choosing them for me.

All I get is the short description. Apparently my client isn't getting the product reference in their copy of Business Client either.

I am using Business V9 and showing products codes/descriptions on invoices/data entry and packing reports etc - if that is what you want ?

If you have 'Hide Product References in Online Catalog' ticked (Settings | Business Settings | Options) then they won't show anywhere. Unticking this option means that they will show on the website and on reports.
