LOL about time someone asked this, have you searched the forum and found the longest thread and the most requested feature in history - i guess not.

It's hard to get a decent Google Checkout working with v9.

However, as the most requested feature, it's very likely that Google Checkout will be in v10.

          LOL Jo

          what was that?
I couldn't quite make it out?

it does appear, from that post though, that it won't be 'reverse engineered' to integrate with V9...which is pretty important information too!

trust me, 'LOL' sums that question up. I doubt you'll even get a ballpark figure suffice to say it's not any time soon!

actinic will not commit to a date for v10, so work on the premise that actinic aim to release a new version every 12-18-24 months.

v9 has been out for 4?

my conclusion - at least a year.

I'd be a lot happier if they concentrated on getting v9 right before embarking on a new version.

Personnally, I don't care what version they are on, just that it does what it says it will do.

I agree but, you have to start working on the next versions before your finish the previous ones, it may not be actually coding but the vision you are undertaking, planning and building a list of requirements. Working on v10 does not mean there are coders churning out stuff as we speak.

and i am sure the long delay in releasing v9.0.3 tells you they are trying

                          You are perfectly correct Darren.
I just get frustrated when my workflow is through the floor, responding to clients problems and fighting the code in v9.
I've had potential clients jump ship after learning of the problems and how do you tell a client that the featured MOTO that you sold them on, is in fact unusable?

Perhaps it would help if it were to be made clear by Actinic that v10 is currently in concept stage and that a realistic expectation of a stable version release was sheduled for release in, say, 14-18 months.
That sort of news we can all live with.

The past 2 versions have been released 6 months too early IMO, I can't see that same mistake being made a third time, not unless they want to make grown men cry and sleep under fish & chip papers on a park bench.
