Error when Refreshing database

Any idea what I can do? my C has 43 GB free.

also, the box that shows the progress, DISAPEARS. what is the deal?

Have you tried any of the standard housekeeping steps to see if that clears it up first? Sounds like a weird message and sounds very poorly.

i compacted the database. that is all.

I've not heard that message before, reverting back to your last working snapshot is probably your best bet, it sounds pretty terminal.

what i have done is rather than having 10 products in 1 page, I have made it, so thgat each product has its own page.
So this is what the problem is.
I have too many products.
I think it runs out of memmory,.
my computer has 4gb memory and my disk has lots of free space.
I think it is an Actinic thing.

How many products we talking? Actinic say 20,000 but if you have SPP setup, 8,000 is about the absolute limit IME. If you are breaking those ceilings, then you could end up with all sorts of erratic results and problems.
