    Hosting on localhost?

I've got a webserver running at home, but don't currently have any active purchased hosting. All of my work is just developing so I never really have a use for it as I do it for other people that do. Until now it's never been a problem as everything, whether its PHP/MySQL etc is able to run on my home machine on localhost.

Is there a way of running Actinic on localhost so I can view it as an active webpage and not just through the Actinic program. Theres a publish bit isn't there where you put in your FTP details etc, but as such I don't have any because it's just on my PC.

    Any help is appreciated.

If your web-server is up and running (and you've installed Perl), then you just need an FTP server set up so that Actinic can use it to upload the files to your local web-space.

As Jo says, it's covered in the Advanced Guide, but you probably only need the WarFTPd bit.
