    Problem with the check out

    Well, now the problem is,

People visit my website, spend time on it, more than one minute, in average.
They add products on the cart, but when it come to pay they just leave the site.

It sounds like the payment process required to much info?

    Any ideas?
Anyone having that problem with V9?

I would not buy from you either. It's not v9 it's how you have built the site:

    Colours are not very good
    Logo vanishes in checkout
Shipping costs not visable untill checkout
Terms and conditions do not match what is actually happening eg payments
    Need to agree terms
    Dodgy looking address is flat1
Yahoo email address as used by millions of scammers

    Just a few for starters

As well as all the above, I think showing the Euro price is messy and confusing. The Euro symbol is so like the £, people might wonder which price they are actually going to pay.

        phone no is mobile...

        terms have errors

flat1 for address coupled with mobile tells everyone it is a part time business - thus very little redress if the order goes wrong

images could do with sprucing up, eg the worpdpay image on the front page is very poorly edited

The site looks dated, untrustworthy and a bit amateurish to me. Being a kitchen table business is not so bad, some of the best service I have ever received has been off kitchen table businesses, but it is not something you want to be portraying on your website.

Take a look at the top sites in your industry, they have often spent thousands on user reviews and the fact they are successful tells you where you need to be heading. I don't think you could look at one of the top sites and compare any particular area on yours and prefer your method. If your site was being redesigned today, product copy aside, I don't think anything else would be kept. You simply have to be far more in tune with the web and how things operate and look at the moment, you are a long long way off any real success with your current approach.

The good news is that it is not that difficult to see what you need to be doing, there are thousands of successful sites out there, you just need to open your eyes and do a bit of investigation without the blinkers.

For success, forget the sentiment, treat your website as a money making machine, not your little baby you've been building for 4 years, you will make far more correct decisions along the way.
