Search Key Not Found In Any Record

    Hi Everyone,

I am trying to upload my site and it says "the search key is not found in any record". What does this mean and what do I need to do ?

    Kind regards

Have you tried searching for that error message in both the forum and the KB? I suspect you are not the only person to have ever had this message, so the solution will already be documented.

I have searched but I haven't found an answer.

I believe that my search.html and sitemap.html arent uploading to the acatalog folder because of this message "the search key is not found in any record".

Can someone please advise on what I should do ?

      Kind regards

      Mark

Have you done the troubleshooting recommendations and the website purge and refresh? if not do those first.

            Excellent, that worked.

I deleted all files from my Acatalog folder and cgi bin folder manually. Then went to Housekeeping and purged content, then went to Housekeeping and Compact Databases and that did the job.

I no longed get the "Search Key" message and my sitemap.html and search.html are now uploading again.

            Thanks guys

Excellent news. If you had used the Google search box and input the error message as recommended, that solution would have been the very first post (with solution) you got to see. I am not sure if you searched how you didn't get it?

Ah, I didnt figure that searching Google would give the answers within the Actinic Community. I will know for next time. I just used the drop down search box.

                  Cheers

Mark top of the page right hand side is the search box, this will search google for all the pages on the forum, you dont have to go to google to do it.

You are indirectly using Google, not directly, it's the box directly above the one you used, still here on the forum though.
