Product pages - the transition to divs?

Hi again all. Busy actinic day for me!

I've been looking through product pages and would really like to take the whole lot into divs - do away with tables for layout other than in attributes lists etc.

Theoretically I can't think of a reason not to do this but i thought id double check here and see if anyone has done it, or there is a really good reason not to do it.

Hope that isnt too much of an open question.

No reason why you can't - just be careful of the checkout as some code is generated from within the perl scripts. Also remember that some code is also contained in the Design Text.
