Strange Currency problem

Hi guys,

Haven't been around here much but i'm stuck with a v8 problem.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

If you notice the way the currency is being displayed, it's a little messed up at the moment.

I tried hard coding in &pound to the price layout but it breaks it more or just makes a pound sign and then the question mark.

I have no idea why this is doing this, i also tried changing the currency settings in the business options but still no joy.

Also for the site to view correctly at the moment, you will have to use Firefox, Safari etc....

You should not need to hardcode the currency symbol. Under business settings / ordering you have the option to use the £ or GBP and an additional currency.

If this is not working then you have broken the layout, try reverting to factory default. Remember the layouts cover many options for displaying the price, tax inclusive, tax exclusive e.t.c so if you want to edit then you need to in the correct place

Looks like an encoding issue i'd say, very common problem. It has been encountered many times and the solution has been posted as frequently.

I had 2 charsets defined in my html. *embarassed....

The one from building the html and then the Actinic changes.
