Help files - script error

Hi everyone,

I keep getting a dialogue box/warning popping up when I try and click a link within Actinic help.

Has anyone any idea as to why this is happening please ?

I've seen this happening once when trying to open the help file over a network connection. Could you check this please? Also, what version of IE do you have. It should work fine with both IE6 ans IE7.

Hi Chris,

I am now on IE v.8.0 (Beta), but the same problem happened in IE v.7.

I am running a stand alone PC.

I'm afraid I am a bit stuck on this one I'm afraid. There is some application or other that stops *.chm files from working properly. One of our developers have it as well, and has the same problem as you. I wasn't able to sort it out for him either.

The only thing I can suggest is copying the ActinicMainHelp.chm file to an alternative PC. I appreciate that's not a great solution.
