Hi,
We have just recently added Actinic EPOS to our existing Actinic Business Multi User (v8.5.2). We are using the 'Manage stock in Actinic EPOS' option. However, what we are finding is that when an order is received from the web, the stock level in Ecommerce is not being lowered straight away, but rather the stock is going into an allocated state in EPOS and the actual stock levels are not lowered in Ecommerce until we have set the order to shipped.
This means that when we leave the web site in an unattended state (over the weekend for example) and we are running the Mole End one stop automation, the stock levels will not be lowered correctly until we manually ship the items on the Monday.
We publish our stock levels on the web site using the StockLevel variable, which appears to be inaccurate when the stock is allocated in EPOS but not shipped in Ecommerce. Is there any way to view the actual stock level in Ecommerce i.e. StockLevel minus Allocated Stock? Or alternatively, is there a way to automatically lower the actual stock level in Ecommerce when stock control is handled in EPOS?
Thanks for any advice or help with this.
