Snapshot and upload taking a long time

Hi

I got problem when I make a snapshot or do an upload. It takes a long time. I left my laptop doing a snapshot and went out for two hours and it still not have finish time I got back. It normally only take about 5 to 10 mins.

For the first time I did some price changes using a CSV file. Not sure that have anything to do with it.
I also added two fragments with HTML in them. about the same time i did the price change.

When I did manage to do an snapshot over night. My snapshot went from about 48meg to 57meg.

Can any one tell me or help me why this is happening

Try compacting the database - if that doesn't help then restore to the last snapshot (hopefully you made one just before you changed the prices).

I have compacted the database already. Just thought there might be something else I could do before I import my old snapshot.

You could try removing the fragments you added to see if that's the problem.

I have just tried that and it made no change.

I think I will just have to use my old snapshot. (lucky I did one before I did the price change)
