Multiple Order Combined Shipping

Hello there.
When a customer orders multiples of the same items I find that V8 charges multiples of shipping
EG:

Product A x 1 = shipping cost £10
product A x 5 = shipping cost £50

or
product A x 1 + product B x 1 = shipping cost £20 when i want it to combine the 2 items and only charge £10

Is there a away to discount shipping if multiples are ordered? Thanks

Have a read of the inbuilt help on shipping and set your site up to ship by weight, apply a default weight to all products and then setup charging tiers to suit your charging requirements.
