Default Meta Description

Hi,
If I don't have a meta description entered for a product in the 'details' section should Actinic pick up a default Meta Description instead. I am running version 9.02. If so, does this have to be turned on?

There is a setting in Site Options > Links giving the option to 'Include Parent Meta Content in each Section'

I know there have been issues with this not working 100% correctly though so might be worth checking the forum for known problems first.
