Help - How do I create a LOGOUT link?

I have set up a customer account and tested it at which point I discovered there is no option on my site for the customer to 'logout'.

I've searched the forum but tbh, I'm even more confused because I can't find a logout layout.

Can anyone help me create this option? I'm on v9 and only a beginner so be gentle with me!

Add:

<a href="http://www.buycraftsonline.co.uk/cgi-bin/bb000001.pl?ACTION=LOGOUT">LOG OUT</a>

where you want it.

I am presuming that is your URL, if not, then change it to suit.

Although I did say be gentle with me - where do I add it? I'm assuming on the main layout???

Well where you put it depends on where you want it to show. Why not take a snapshot and then have a play putting it into your layout, if you mess up just revert to the snapshot. Locate something nearby to where you want it as a starting point.
