Linking to a fragment in a brochure page

    Hi

I am having a little trouble, and I am wondering if any knows the ansawer to my issue.

I wish to know how to link a fragment in a brochure page.

So, I have tried the full url then #name of fragment

    but is not working.

for example I am working on my
    http://www.indigo-herbs.co.uk/acatalog/Aphrodisiac.html page

now it I add to the address #wildyam (the last fragment at the bottem of the page), it should jump to the page bottem, I think.

However, i doesnt. I feel to be also there, but with so many of these thing that I try there is often, a little bit that cant be worked out and I need to be told.

    Any Ideas for me?

    thanks

Are you using the Link Options Actinic has in the Fragment Details Tab?

you need some sort of anchor in your fragment because currently there aren't any which is why the # link isn't jumping to it.
You could embed the anchor into your Fragment Text or title?

        Hi

No I am buliding a image map in dreamweaver, onto a image we have made, which will sit at the top of the page. Then the links will (should) jump the user to the fragment they are intrested in further down the page.

I will then cut and paste the code into a text only fragment layout in actinic, using the !!< >!! tags before and after the code, I have used the same method before and it works well, but only to link to a different page, rather than a fragment on the same page.

        Cheers

            Steve,

If you do a search for anchors and fragments, there are a number of threads that may be worth reading. I think Tracey even started one!

Add the following to text to the first line in your fragment:
                !!<<a name="anchorName" id="anchorName">>!!

                        Hi,

I also want to link to a fragment, and understand it can be done as described above, but have a question.
In the design tab, I have looked at the layout code for the fragment, and at the top it has:
                        <a name="<actinic:variable name='FragmentAnchor' />"></a>
                        (with block tags around it)

which makes me think there should be somewhere you can enter the fragment anchor of your choice, but I can't find where - any help gratefully received.

The fragment achor is only generated for fragments on product pages. Not for fragments in the Brochure.

It would be best to just embed it into the start of the Fragment text as above. E.g.

                          !!<<a name="myfrag1"></a>>!!My fragment title.

You could also put it into the Fragment text in the same way but then your customers might not see the fragment title when they link to the page as it may be scrolled off screen.
