Removing the text limit on the "Extended Information" Box

    Hi everybody

I'm trying to put in some HTML into the "Extended Information" box. However, about 3/4 of the way through the data, this appears:-

"The field can only store a limited amount of information. It is now full. There was not enough room for some of the information you pasted into this field.".

Is there any way of increasing the amount of data that we can put in this field?

I thought you could get a fairly generous 20Kb in there. Are you trying to put more in than that?

      Yes.

Basically the client we're doing a website for wants tabular data imported from it's supplier website (it's product specification for cameras). Unfortunately, the data on the supplier's website is rather unmanageable, and I fear that the client will simply copy & paste the table from the supplier's website, so I'm trying to save myself a few phone calls here :S

It will have to be a complicated route then.

You can create a product level variable called say "SpecificationFile" of type File Content. Allow it to be blank. Add this variable to your Extended Info layout.

Customer saves his HTML into a separate file and you set SpecificationFile to whatever filename they've used.
