Product Reference duplicated

Can anyone help, Using V9 business plus with one linked computer.

I have one pearson starting to add products to a test site which i thought I could check and then import it to my main site.

I thought this would be easier than giving access to the main site.

However I cannot import as each product reference number from the test site is a duplicate in the main site.

Can I reset the reference numbers after exporting or ad a letter to seperate the two ie 102 and z102, or is there another way.

Maybe worth switching off the auto product reference option and manually add the refs yourself.

In the meanwhile you can export the file to Excel and simply concatenate the old ref with the prefix then drag it back in again
