Actinic drop down boxes in IE 8 beta 2.0

Hi All,

for a laugh i have downloaded IE 8.0 beta 2. Just to see what damage it would do to my site.
Fortunately the design held up, but all of the drop down boxes for my product options, and the drop down boxes to select the shipping country seem to be being treated as pop ups, and consequently IE8 won't allow me to use them, even after i turn of the pop up blocker.

Has anyone else seen this or is it my coding that has some how caused this.

curiously it (1e8) has also killed all of my favourites.

And here is my Robert Peston moment....

I know most people will say 'well you should be using firefox' but the majority of jo public use IE, when this new version gets pushed out in a windoze update will it break all the actinic sites?

Hi Tim,
There are a few ie8 threads dotted about the forum - most suggest waiting for the final release anyway, hopefully ms will iron out the fact that it breaks most existing sites
