Google Analytics code keeps changing??

I finally managed to get Google Analytics working - see thread here;

After a day or two the reports stopped, when I doubled checked it would appear that I have been given a new code.

Uploaded the new code and all was fine, just checked it again this morning and the code has changed yet again?

Has this happend to anyone else?

I presume I must be doing something wrong - can't think what?

What is changing, the main code or the index, ie. the digit(s) after the -. The last digit changes each time you add a new site to your account. If it is the main part of the code (the number between UA and -) then it appears that you are signing up for a new account each time you access google???

Okay sorted this problem, I didn't relise and don't remember setting them up but I was running two identical accounts, deleted one and now all is fine.
